Gorgeous setting - not suitable for all.....
This is a spotless site in a truly gorgeous setting. The views are spectacular and it is a lovely peaceful site. As previously mentioned, there is no shop on sire, which isn't an issue as there is one on the neighbouring site with the bare essentials. Supermarkets are few and far between however in this part of Wales so either go prepared or be ready to travel to get to a supermarket! There is one in St David's but parking is limited or you need to pay.
The walk into St David's itself is lovely, but takes about 40 mins and has some steep hills and is on narrow roads - so not for those with poor mobility.
Football (and all ball games) are banned on this site. We've never come across this before on a Club Site so our children were very disappointed - worth noting if you have older kids who might not want to spend their time on the swings.
The nearby Whitesands beach was lovely, our highlight was the Blue Lagoon and bay at Abereiddi - absolutely stunning. Take your body boards and paddle boards - the sea is crystal clear, if a little bracing!
We would also highly recommend the fish and chips from the Shed Bistro in Porthgain while watching the sun set.
Take care on the narrow roads on the approach to the site.
The toilet/shower block closing at 10 was not an issue for us - they do keep a toilet open for the duration is you are caught short!
