A Lovely Site

We had arrived after a lot of rain had fallen in the previous week, and was worried that the all grass pitch site was going to be slippery and waterlogged. Was pleasantly surprised to find the ground firm and after more rain it still drained well. The site is however exposed and it does get windy, but it is flat. Site facilities are as you would expect and always clean, but seem small in numbers compared to the number of pitches and people. The staff were helpful and the info received on arrival and in the info hut was very good, and there is also a book swap cupboard too. And I was pleased with the fact there are still multiple recycling points around the site. There is an hourly minibus from outside the gate that does a circular route to St Davids and to the beaches and other interesting places, and there are plenty of cycle routes down quiet country lanes to places like Solva and Porth Clais both or which have a nice cafe at the end. There is also a well stocked shop on the campsite adjacent to this one that sells all essentials. Would return when this way again
