Lovely site in a stunning location
First thing to be aware of, is that next door is a private campsite, that shares the same postcode, and the entrances are less that 200 yards apart.
Lovely, well managed and looked after site, set slightly inland from the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline. As always, staff very welcoming and full of local knowledge. Even the powercut that affected the site on the Saturday (outside of the staff control), was not really noticed, and we were kept informed with regular updates, power back on by 5pm.
Whitesand Bay can be reached comfortably by using the footpath from the site, but you can also drive and park there for the day, go surfing / book a surfing lesson, or enjoy the beach and the cafe.
In the opposite direction and a bit further away is Blue Lagoon, most definitely worth a visit.
St Davids itself, is a stunning little city (it is the smallest in Britain), recommend a visit to Chapel Choclates, Petes Plaice (Fish and Chips), and the Veg Box (local foodstuffs)
We did not have time to go out on one of the boat tours advertised on site, but looked well worth a trip at some point, and seems good value for money, especially as club members are offered a 10% discount whilst we were staying there.
The site is also the start point for The Coastal Way (Ffordd Arfordirol) 180 mile route, 5 days, so we will be back to do this in the future
If you want to stay on a nice, quiet site, with stunning views, and local beach access, this is the site for you.
