Avoid The Rooks

We arrived late afternoon and only one pitch was available, right under Rook central. Avoid the trees in the middle. Every dawn and Dusk...aaaghh. The beautiful sandy beach is a 15 minute walk away, which is handy as everywhere charges for parking. The Coastal path here is excellent. The downside for us was the lack of dog walking areas. Our dogs are scatty and could not be trusted off lead on the coastal path, Dogs were not allowed on the beach, there was no nearby rough or common land. The only area's were the inland, cross field Footpaths. However not CC's fault. St David's is a pleasant walk away, But the pubs and cafe's etc are very expensive so keep the BBQ handy. This area of the Pembrokeshire Coastal path is much quieter and more tranquil, If you are entertaining children, apart from the sandy beach, Tenby has a lot more going on. I would happily go again but found that after 4-5 days we had done everything we hoped to do Usual Excellent CC staff and facilities
