A splendid 10 days in Pembrokeshire

An excellent location for walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal paths and breathtaking scenery. Good road network from Cambridge with only the final few miles on narrow undulating roads. Follow the final directions from the site guide as some lanes are very narrow. There are numerous other camping and caravan in sites in the location. The only reason that I marked down the peace and quiet was that there are a row of trees down the centre of the site with the noisiest birds roosting there but the site is large enough to park far enough away from these unless the site was full. A very warm welcome awaits you. There are basic provisions at the reception shop with a slightly larger camp shop at the adjoining site. St David's is a 5 minute drive away where there are pubs and restaurants and a supermarket and the Cathedral and market are well worth a visit. We were lucky to have good weather all week with just a sprinkling of rain early one morning. The prevailing wind can be quite strong so storm ropes and anchors on awnings would be wise. All in all an excellent week and would not hesitate in returning.
