Great location

Spent 10 nights at this lovely non facility site, our second visit and didn't disappoint apart from no free club wifi which I think was going to be rectified. This is a lovely quiet site with grass pitches some of which need levelling blocks. The approach roads are a bit narrow although there are several passing places and there's a very short section which could do with the hedges cut back. We pitched in a sheltered area behind reception and although no views to speak of, it was safe to erect our awning as the other pitches with the views over the sea are somewhat exposed to the wind. We enjoyed many walks from site along the coastal path to Trevenance Cove via St Agnes Head and also down to Wheal Coates to Chapel Porth and onto Porthtowan. We also visited Crantock, Holywell Bay, Lanhydrock, Fowey and Charlestown. There is a lovely cafe within a couple of hundred yards along the lane which serves delicious coffee and cake and also if you're there on a Sunday, the pork bap with stuffing and crackling is mouth watering. This is a great site for exploring Cornwall and highly recommend. Only gave two stars for facilites as there aren't any but the laundry room was always spotless.
