Our Favourite
Just returned from another amazing visit to this site. After setting up on our arrival we wandered over to the tin mine...to make sure it was still there.... and luckily we had our binoculars in hand because we spotted a pod of dolphin's in the sea. Wow!!!! We new this was going to be a good week. This is a beautiful unspoilt part of Cornwall. Don't tell anyone but the coast guard hut is where Winston Graham drafted his Poldark novels while on duty during the WW11. Our glorious week ended with a magical mist show....the mist rolls in off of the sea here quite atmospherically, and as the day ended we had a fantastic sunset and the mist became orange, it didn't engulf us but floated all around......amazing. Many thanks to Sue and Deryck, always a pleasure to see you, and we wish you well for the future.
