St Agnes Beacon is just perfect for us. This has been our second visit and won't be our last. The location couldn't be better. Fantastic views over the sea. Fabulous walks along the cliffs down to an old tin mine and on to Chapel Porth- our favourite beach. There are further walks along the beach at low tide as well as continuing along the coastal path on the cliffs. Another lovely walk is up to the Beacon itself with more stunning views. We continued down Into St Agnes itself;a lovely little village with its own museum and excellent micro brewery as well pubs, restaurants and delightful bakery. St Ives, Truro, Falmouth and Penzance are all within easy driving distance. The site itself is beautifully maintained and has the friendliest wardens we have met. For us this feels like a big CL, and that's a good thing! Hopefully the lack of shower blocks and toilets will put some people off coming so we can get back again!😊
