Just returned from this site. We never get tired of it, if you get the weather there is no where on earth I'd rather be. The walk to Portreath and Perranporth are on your door step. This is Cornish mining district, and if you want to explore this there are lots of sites to visit. Since Poldark (which was filmed at Botallack mine) the interest has grown, fascinating think how industrial this area was then. Value for money, peace and quiet, fantastic views, abundance of wildlife, immaculately kept, friendly wardens, oh and the chip van comes Monday and Saturday. What more can you ask for.
