Southport C&MC Site
We've been staying on this site for years because of its proximity to our family. It's a lovely site with some of the most friendly and helpful wardens, and impeccable amenities.
It's position lends itself to all the holiday necessities, with the beach, pleasureland, boating lakes and shopping all within walking distance, but, and this a big but for us the site is plagued with visitors who constantly walk across pitches to get to the facility blocks. It doesn't seem to be an issue at other sites, but at Southport it is. Just look at the other reviews.
I realise that the wardens can't be patrolling around all the time, but please can visitors be asked not use site pitches as a short cut through to the blocks. Our last stay was spoilt by our pitch being used as a path, even on two occasions used as a dog walk. Luckily we had two dogs with us and they made their presence known and the dog walkers got the message.
This gripe won't stop us from revisiting, but it's a issue that needs addressing. I just wish I had the solution.
