We had a lovely stay over the Southport Airshow weekend. The site was in a brilliant location for us. A nice ten minute walk to a supermarket, some lovely nearby pubs serving food. A fish and chip van came to the site and they were delicious! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the facilities were really clean, we appreciated that they were cleaned mid afternoon too! Obviously there was noise from the airshow, but we were aware of constant deep bass thrumming on the Saturday evening, it came from the nearby Pleasure Land, totally out of the control of the CAMC. The internet informed us it would cease at 1.00am, but we actually fell asleep about 22.30hrs so it must not have been too bad for us. The site was full and the staff did an amazing job. They really deserve praise.
