First time on the site
We arrived about 2pm and the queue down the road to get onto the site was extremely long which we have never experienced before. Once on the site reception staff were welcoming, quick and friendly. I think it would have been helpful to have a warden outside monitoring/advising people arriving etc. and some vehicles were causing more congestion outside reception stopping other vehicles moving off.
The site is large with 2 service/toilet blocks. Closure of toilets in each block to clean was different so meant there was always somewhere to use. Access to toilets/showers/laundry/dishwashing is via a key given after you tell them your pitch no. which we didn't mind but don't forget your key when you want to use the facilities as you might have a long walk back to your van! We did this and so did a few other people. The ladies are on the other side of the building in block B and there is only one access path to get to it so I would suggest another path would be helpful for those who might struggle to walk far. All pitches are spacious, hard standing and mainly flat. There are paths to the road, sand dunes, park & town. Everywhere is clean and tidy and staff always friendly when you saw them.
We were disappointed there isn't a dog shower on site when they advertise a dog walk off site and have paths from the site to areas where you can walk dogs that will make them muddy.. We have 2 dogs and there were many dog owners using the site. Luckily for us the weather wasn't too bad so it wasn't an issue but it could have been. I wasn't sure if it was acceptable to use the waste water tap to wash a dog...
All in all it is a very nice site with good facilities and we would visit again.
