We've visited this site many times over the years from when it was mostly grass and only half the size to as it is now. It's a great location for visiting other places around the north west area. The site facilities are spotless and the site staff work very hard to keep it that way. It's not the cheapest of sites but, for us, worth the difference as we like the location and the standard of the facilities. Good food to be had at The Fishermen's Rest. Great choice of supermarkets; Morrison's within walking distance or Tesco and the new Sainsbury's are a short drive away.
