Spotless site

Having done some CL-site camping for a few days, landing here was like being in 4* hotel with strict guidelines! However, the pristine conditions (showers, toilets, etc) meant that we could return into a more civilised environment before heading for the wild again. Having said that - and whilst it suits the British psyche - a bit more randomness with the layout and less regimented approach would make this site perfect. Whilst it's obvious that CC has optimised its revenue by ensuring maximum occupancy, it doesn't obviate that little extra touch - like a few trees and shrubs here and there. Camping may be a pied-à-terre for some who just wish to view other campers' activities, but it must entail a degree of privacy. CC, please don't emulate UK planners/builders who indulge in saturation accommodation. And these days there's no need to charge customers for wifi: get over it, CC - just bear the cost and slip into 2016! Site staff were first class: splendid training has obviously been an excellent investment. They certainly know how to deal with awkward situations, the details of which I shall not go into! The location is just perfect, being within walking distance of the beach, town, kids' fairground, and an excellent pub for food. But the grass certainly won't grow under your feet... or anywhere: it's cut at all available times - early Sunday mornings included! We liked it very much, and certainly would return for a day or two (cost being a main consideration) should we venture in that neck of the (very small) woods.
