We stayed here for two nights mid week in February. What a great site! I could not believe how many other people were here too, no wonder we hadn't managed to book on the previous weekend. Despite the number of occupied pitches the site was peacful & quiet & the wardens were very friendly helpful & full of fun. They have kept the place immaculate, The facilities here are first rate, spotlessly clean & modern & warm. The site is well laid out as you'd expect & in summer there is another part of the site which they can open to increase capacity. The town centre is a 15 minute walk away & was great to visit. The nearest pub (The Fishermans Rest) is about 10 minutes walk in the opposite direction & serves good tasty reasonably priced food too! TV reception (terrestial) was excellent through our omni aerial & a weak but fairly stable 4G phone signal was adequate. There is a public footpath that crosses the site so the toilets are only accesible by key & there are cameras monitoring the site for extra security. A great site & we'll be back again soon!
