Nice long weekend in Southport
Another lovely stay at this popular site. Wardens as helpful as ever. Good social distancing system in place, only a small number of people ignored them but the site or club can’t be blamed for that. On this trip we walked the coastal path to Formby Point which we recommend. If you don’t fancy the walk back there are trains every 15mins. Would also recommend a wander to Birkdale Village. Due to the brilliant weather Southport centre was packed which wasn’t to our liking, but didn’t spoil our trip.
