Good for families

Great site with fabulous facilities but why so many dogs ?

This is a very well kept immaculate site with great wardens and location is good for Southport but dear me the number of dogs is getting out of control. The pitch next to us has 7 dogs. 7 dogs! How can that be allowed on a club site and how can it be acceptable for these dogs to foul the grass area in between pitches? Surely there is a max number of dogs per unit? Totally unacceptable.

Goodness, the same complaint in a story and now in a site review.

I say the same here as in response to your story. There is no limit to the number of dogs allowed per unit.

Did you report the fouling to the wardens or speak to the dogs' owner? If you want action taken, you need to bring it to someone's attention at the time. I’m afraid complaining here will not alert the warden to the issue and neither will it point out the error of his/her ways to the dogs' owner.

Same old response from you. FYI owners spoken to especially about our early wake up call at 0630 this morning. Number of dogs per pitch needs addressing. Imagine how many there would be if everyone brought 7 dogs? Need more bins for all the crap !

What about telling the Wardens?

Same old response from me, maybe, but as valid as ever. If you want something done, you have to bring it to the attention of the right people.

Yes we were on site and could hardly believe our eyes, 7 dogs with one family, private parks only allow 2.
