We have just returned from 2 nights at southport cc site and we will be returning again very soon, we stayed on pitch 80, out of the way as we have 2 dogs and this was there first time in a motor home but we didn't need to worry, there were plenty of dog walking areas around, especially the dunes across the road and the lovelly park next door with access through the site. We had a fantastic view of the ferris wheel at the fair ground just up the road, the light show was fantastic. I can highly recommend this site, the staff are pleasant and the site is very clean... toilet blocks are superb. Southport centre is within easy walking distance with shops and cafes and the pier, marine lake is also worth a visit. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did :).
