After all the rain this year we were concerned to be on a grass pitch but this proved not to be an issue and all credit to the maintenance team who have obviously been working very hard. The site is excellent quality with good facilities. A minor point, but it was good to be able to have a shower without having to keep pressing a start button. Cleaning standards are very high both in the shower block and in the washing up area. The road network on the Isle of Wight did prove to be a challenge for us even with a relatively short 7M motorhome and we did envy the caravanners who were able to go off in their vehicles. We ended up hiring a car to have more flexibility as there lots of places we wanted to visit. In addition to the better known sights we found that lunch at the garlic farm was an interesting experience. So message to self - do more research before visiting somewhere new as I now understand that we could have made better use of public transport even with our dog who was allowed to travel on the buses. The difficulty in getting around is the only reason I didn't say we would certainly visit again. Thank you to the team running the site.
