We had a lovely 4 night stay here for what was my first trip to the IoW. Staff were friendly and helpful, the site was well maintained and the facilities were clean and well appointed. Wi-Fi not good on hard standing pitches...had to head near reception to get online. Toilet and shower facilities were always clean and never busy...no queuing for loo or shower! We did see some queuing to do washing up but we just avoided the busy time and never had to wait. The only time I saw any part of the site which needed cleaning was the washing up area where other campers hadn't bothered to clean up after themselves, which seems to be the only situation in which people are not considerate of their fellow campers, which is a shame. We will definitely return to the island for another visit and will stay at Southland again for sure. Ferry booked via CAMC from Southampton rather than Portsmouth saving us over £100!!
