Our first visit to the I.O.W. and we really enjoyed it. The ferry /4 nt package was good value and the site was really pleasant, well kept and quiet 2nd wk in Oct. using hardstanding only.The site is surprisingly large but hedged not sure how busy it gets in school hols. Really easy to see a lot in this time . Shanklin,Sandown, The Garlic Farm, Osborne House (one of the best English Heritage sites we have visited),a great food pub The Pointer in Newchurch..need to book to eat! The visitor centre at The Needles is a bit tacky but area itself worth a visit. All in all very enjoyable.
