Good quiet site (mostly)
Smedmore is a low facility site, no toilet / shower block, a sort of large CL. Pitches are all on grass. The field is L shaped sloping downwards away from the point of the L. There are some level pitches but many require the use of blocks (which are available). As has been stated, the approach roads are narrow, single track in places. There are no children's facilities. The few families we saw there seemed to be into Kayaking which can be done in the nearby bay. It is a mostly quiet site but the house is occasionally used for weddings and on one evening we had music up to midnight. There are good views and excellent walking from the site.
