Peaceful Most of the Time

The site in a an old railway siding is in a lonely location. Great for walking or cycling the old railway track which is adjacent to the site, and 31 miles long. We easily walked into the village, and watched the cricket match. The URC church was next door, We joined them for the 6-30pm service. The village has a pub, shop which caters for most of our needs. The main downside of the site besides the acorns falling onto the caravan roof at night, was the noise of the forklift trucks, in the adjacent factory yard, at 5am which woke everyone, at the far end of the site. We arrived in August during the school holidays, and the site was not full, despite this being cheaper ? @ £14 per night. Perhaps others have been before near to return. The site needs money spent, and some TLC , Two water points on a site of this length is not enough. If the price goes up to £18 , which the on site talk suggests, then the site will near be full.
