Silverbank, Banchory is only 35 minutes drive from my home therefore very easy to get to for a weekend away. Sam and Mark are very nice and helpful wardens who work hard maintaining the high standards at the site. The site is peaceful although there can be a little bit of traffic noise if pitched on the north side of site. We like Silverbank and will definitely visit again. Star gazers will love the pitch black skies at night. Tip - If putting up an awning, I suggest good pegs are needed in this part of the country; I bent a few pegs hammering them into the ground.
