The worst experience of a site in over 30 years of camping

TBH until now I have always been a fan of the club site, but that ended after this experience, and maybe I’m seeing it through different eyes this time. Basically this was the final site of our trip, previously staying at independent sites, our trip away was to unwind, spend quality time with my partner before undergoing open heart surgery. I’m also neurodivergent, high functioning, I work and am very down to earth what I would consider as normal. I had an issue with the pitch I parked on, (motor home) my partner had walked into town so I was there alone. When to the office asking if I could stay on the smaller pitch (blue peg) and gift my larger pitch white peg, to someone who may like the extra space. Note the pitches were next to each other. But the computer said No! I explained that I was disabled and had a serious heart condition and was alone. Seriously no flexibility, no help offered. Rude and no understanding around equality, diversity or inclusion. Staff training needed, like wise the customer care is rubbish too. The club need to seriously sort themselves out, in plain terms get there pompous heads out of the arse. It’s a very expensive option even as a member, tbh these people are more interested in cutting the grass than serving paying customers. The club need to up its game, employ trained people not retired jobs worths who quote the rules at every possible opportunity. Needless to say we had to go home as I was unwell after being force to move my outfit on my own with no help. £148 for 3 nights, and membership fee is a rip off. Interesting I said to the new people who came on our original pitch if they had offered u a bigger pitch next to the one they booked would they have taken it and guess what they said yes please.. like I said jobsworth, I’m sure they are very friendly when all is going well but all need training, they give older people a bad name. And finally what I can’t understand is why they think it’s safe to have just 1 meter between pitches. I’ve always been told it should be 6 meters due to fire risks. And why have locks on the doors of the loos, we have all paid to use them there is no public access on the sight. Won’t be back!!!
