Perfectly located for visiting Cromer

We recently stayed at Seacroft for 2 nights at the beginning of the month. We arrived at the site a few minutes before the allotted 1pm arrival time and received a very friendly welcome from the site managers - all of whom apologised for keeping us waiting. There really was no need to apologise, we had a better run than expected arriving in 3.5 hrs instead of the expected 4 and were more than happy to wait until 1pm for entry to the site. Check-in was seamless and very efficient, choosing and pitching our van before returning to the office to complete our booking and pay the balance. The site is pricey at £45 per night, especially for us as we choose not to use the facilities on site, preferring to use the bathroom in our van and only really using it as a base to sleep. There was a restaurant/bar and outdoor pool, again we didn’t use these, but I’m sure they’d be well used by families on site. This cost however, was outweighed by the perfect location, a fifteen minute stroll along the main road, then along a promenade that took us directly into the centre of Cromer, where we met up with friends who have an apartment in Cromer. The weather for the weekend was kind, the food was plentiful and Cromer was everything you’d expect from an old, Victorian seaside town, perfect, welcoming and unspoilt, not overly touristy and a place we’ll definitely return to and when we do we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Seacroft CAMC site again.
