Lovely break with the grandchildren
Stayed here for the first time with MH.
We took our grandchildren aged 7 and 13.
The site was busy, but that is to be expected in the school holidays. The wardens were working very hard at keeping on top of everything as it was so busy, and they were always very friendly and happy.
The shower facilities are tired, but plenty of hot water and they were always clean.
The swimming pool was great for the grandchildren. We only had one occasion where it was at full capacity and they had to wait until it was less busy to go in.
The evening entertainment was really great for our 7 year old. The older grandchild didn't appreciate it as much, but that was understandable.
The staff in the bar and restaurant were so very friendly and helpful. We did eat in there on one occasion which was very nice.
It is an easy walk into Cromer (we did see the variety show on the pier). We took the bus and visited the Shire Horse Sanctuary, which as so much more than horses, that was great.
We will visit again, but on our own this time, as we would like to walk more and visit more places that interest us, and there are plenty of places to explore.
Look forward to our next visit.
