Our Favourite Caravan Club Site
We genuinly love going to Seacroft and even more so now the new service pitches have been completed.
We have recently returned from our fourth trip to Seacroft and for the first week we stayed on a standard touring pitch with awning. But we managed to get on a serviced pitch for the second week and boy what a difference that made. Ok I had to buy some longer pipe and I already had the fresh water connection, it also took a while (& talking to other caravanners) until we sorted out the ariel connection, so for those going to Seacroft and using the new serviced pitched you need to lift up the outer cover and no additional force is required.lol
But apart from the pitches for ourselves there are few other sites in our vicinity where your dogs can run free (after a short walk) there is the beach, the car park overflow and a patch of rough ground where access is now possible (but I'm not sure if that is strictly allowed).
Its also within 3 hours which I find is just enough travelling for my bad back. We love Norfolk and whenever we come back we always seem to get reasonable weather which is not always possible in September. Our normal dates are between June and July as a rule.
However now for the bad bits...Yes I agree it can be crowded, so book early for the site you want, the downside to this is the grass pitches get well used and can even be a tad bare..
The wardens do a great job and how they put up with people arriving well before the clearly stated time of 12 NOON, god only knows, it is a very busy road outside and the entrance quickly becomes blocked with newcomers arriving.
So wouldn't it be possible to automate the booking in & payment system to alleviate some of these problems?
Don't worry we shall be back as Arnie would say. Thanks again Seacroft
