Just spent a week here and although it is a beautiful area and site we were very disappointed at the noise made by site maintenance. Every time we wanted to sit outside our caravan and relax there was some loud mower or strimmer. Surely these necessary tasks could be kept to a minimum for some of the day. Also on arrival the warden gave us strict instructions on how to pitch (and rightly so for safety) so we pitched exactly as informed (as always). A couple of days later a caravan pitched opposite us ignoring all the rules. Wardens kept walking past and ignoring so we decided to go to reception and report them. A warden did come and speak to them but they was never told to pitch correctly (we was informed rules were very strict due to safety) but they obviously didn't police these rules as we were informed they would. They should have been made to move as we were told we would if we pitched incorrectly. Also finally we were told that the speed limit was a strict 5mph but not many kept to this neither. Been going to this site for a few years now and this was the worst week we have had there!
