This was our second visit to West Ayton and won't be our last. Although it was a busy weekend, it didn't feel too crowded and continued to have a peaceful and relaxed feel about it. Unfortunately there was a group of really drunken rowdy people on site being particularly noisy, spoiling the tranquility for other people. Thank goodness my pitch was nowhere near them. Someone must have complained and I saw the warden on his return, then it all quietened down. Well done! The wardens are all very friendly and work hard to keep the site beautifully presented.
