My wife and I stopped off here for three nights on our way home from Devon. Great welcome, offers of help should we need, but we found the perfect pitch ourselves. This site has it all.....peaceful, mature setting, in the trees or in the open, facilities are well kept and have little extras like additional hooks, washing up drying racks and fly screens on the windows! I liked the little lawned area near reception with a bench for you to sit and enjoy amazing views. It goes without saying that Salisbury is lovely......Cathedral and the Saturday market, along with Old Sarum and of course Stonehenge. Food ? ...what better than the flagship Waitrose store in Salisbury. We are only sorry that wecould not have stayed on until today to enjoy the celebrations of the sites 50th Anniversary. However, we will be making plans to return. Not sure when, but we will be back to enjoy this lovely Club Site.
