This site is very peaceful and quiet and great if you really want a relaxing break. Pitches are either open at the top of the site or located in amongst trees at the bottom end which gives you shelter from the wind and privacy. We were however disappointed that when we checked in on the Tuesday no information was given by staff that there had been issues with the electric on site and that a generator had been brought in to power the electrics. On the first evening this went off for approximately one and a half hours and then again whilst a permanent repair was made for a further two hours the following evening. Regarding the shower block there was no hot water in the men's block for almost all six nights we were there. I understand this has now been repaired but do feel that we should have had information on the problems as we checked in. I will use the site again as it is a lovely peaceful setting but feel slightly let down by the lack of information given by the site staff.
