Very peaceful
Lovely small site, only 50 pitches, set out in small areas, the site is on a slope, but you are warned of this before you visit. Many of the pitches are in shady areas, this can be lovely in hot weather, but not so good if it is wet, or even damp.
Not suitable for children, as there are no play areas.
Wardens were very helpful, and the site is beautifully kept, a lovely touch, is the mini herb garden, where you are welcome to pick 5 or 6 different types of herbs, to add to your meal.
There is only 1 toilet block, and it is quite a walk, uphill, from the farthest pitches.
There is a very limited bus service, outside the site, which could be useful.
It is set in beautiful scenery, but everything is quite a car journey away. Salisbury is 15 mins away, NT Mottisfont is 30 mins away, but if you are happy to drive for 45 mins, there are lots and lots of things to see and do.
If you want to sit and read, quietly this could be perfect for you.
