Nice but remote
We stayed on this site in June 2016 for a week. The site itself is a quiet and peaceful site. The site is sectioned off into little coves which give plenty of peace and privacy. Pitch 47 was a nice spot which was adjoined by one other pitch under the trees and a short walk to the facilities but I can imagine the pitches further round could be a struggle for those who struggle to walk. With the peaceful comes an issue with lack of points of interest close by. The site is a little remote and to visit shops or pubs in a car drive in reality. I was disappointed with the dog walk albeit it appeared it was a public footpath and not owned by the site, which was overgrown with nettles and bramble.
Although nothing close by to walk to the places of interest to visit there is plenty with Stonehenge, Highclere Castle (downton) Salisbury, Bournemouth, Winchester all within 30 mins drive made sight seeing interesting.
