Good location for Salisbury and wide soft rolling Wiltshire landscape
We stayed here in the 2nd week of September 2020 for 4 days, and were happy with our experience. The facilities were run Covid Secure and the staff were more than helpful and friendly.
The lead photo on the site is where we moved to on our 2nd day as it was more suited to our tastes - as most of the site is on a tight loop on the hillside in amongst trees and was a bit too shady for us. Finding the right spot that will be in the sun at the chosen time of day is pretty tricky so if you want the best location get there early.
I was thrilled to find the Army Air museum is just 6 mins by car down the road in "The Wallops"! and it is only about 10 / 15 mins out of the centre of Salisbury.
The CL site right next door has wide open vista's and is appealing but of course not all the facilities of the main site.
The dog walk is attractive and while narrow gives vista's over lovely countryside.
Herbs are available growing outside the reception. Thankyou!
A good transit stop and fine for a short stay.
Thank you to the staff for all their help.
