This is only our second club site we have been on and we did not like it. We arrived and was greeted by a not so friendly warden and paid for our pitch. We were given the map and explained where we could pitch, the warden told us that the grass pitches could get quite "boggy" and given the amount of rain that was due we chose a hard standing pitch. We were given keys to the toilets and off we went to pitch. The site is very green with lots of trees and does have a nice feel to it however the traffic noise is really bad, in my ten years of camping this is the worst I've ever know it the main road is so close, during the day you get lots of traffics noise and then in the evening you get boy racers. The facilities are really clean and to the standard you would except on a club site. There is a natura reserve next to the site which is great for dog walking. We were not fans of this site and will not go back
