Corinne and I arrived with 'Cynthia' on only our second caravan trip, and our first to a Club site; we could not have wished for more! We had decided to look for a site which cut Corinne's commute in half and Rowan Park was perfectly situated; on arrival we were welcomed by one of the warden teams who were helpful, happy and we're glad to advise us 'newbies' with everything from pitching to where to shop and buy provisions, should we need them. The site is very well laid out, a mixture of hard standing and grass pitches, shade and sun (yes, we had plenty of that!). We opted for a hard standing pitch, next to some trees and not too far from the facilities. While pitching, other members were friendly and seemed happy to watch and/or give tips where needed! The facilities were quite simply immaculate. Members, on the whole, cleaned up after themselves and the cleaners did an excellent job each morning. The site itself was kept in excellent order by the wardens, cutting the grass and the like. We have had two separate weeks at Rowan Park now, luckily on the same pitch! The second week was during half term and even with families on the site it was peaceful and used with respect. During our second week, we went down to Bognor for wander on the beach and were given directions and excellent pointers by the warden team. Overall, an outstanding start to our membership of the club and our time with 'Cynthia'! Thank you to the team at Rowan Park, and the Club in general. Paul, Corinne and Cynthia.
