Still Brilliant

We have just had another week at Rookesbury,  as ever the wardens are hard working cheerful and always willing to help,if you have a problem.  It is a lovely quiet and beautifully kept site.  The dog walk has Been halved to accommodate the tents but it is still one of the biggest we have come across,  we love this site and cannot wait to come back

Peaceful, friendly site

We stayed at this site for 5 days at the end of July, as the location was good for visiting friends of ours. We were given a cheerful and friendly welcome when we booked in and the pitches were a great size, with easy access to the toilet blocks etc. Everything met the high standards we expect from a caravan club site.  In addition there are so many lovely places to visit within a half hour drive, that we had a lovely stay. Can recommend: a walk around Wykham, only a couple of miles from the site; Gun Wharf for shopping and harbour views in Portsmouth; a trip over to Ryde on the catamaran from Portsmouth takes only 20mins; a walk along the esplanade at Southsea; Winchester and Chichester. A great few days!

Top Quality Site in Hampshire

We have just returned from a five-day stay and must say we had a great time and is excellently positioned for so many local places to visit. The site is very well looked after and that is in no small part due to the hard work of the great team of wardens who never seem to stop. However, this is not to the detriment of their friendly and obliging approach to all. We cannot wait until we can go back. We have been impressed with the majority of Caravan Club sites but Rookesbury is certainly in the Premiership!

Lovely site

We stayed here for a week and loved every minute. Great wardens who kept the site immaculate. The site is fairly large but doesn't feel so, as it is zoned into separate areas. We and our Black Lab loved the large dog field, more than enough to save putting him in the car to take him a walk. Our only grip would be inconsiderate Owners who do not clean up over their pets - they get us all a bad name which isn't fair. Highly recommended.

Great site

We are a family of four we stayed at the Rookesbury Park site for two nights 27/7/15 to 29/7/15. We chose this site as it was close to home and we had recently bought a caravan and wanted to try it out. The staff on site were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The site is very well laid out the toilet and shower block were very clean.

Found it perfect for a Ferry pitch

Lovely site, really helpful and friendly wardens who were on hand to welcome us back at 9pm following a delay to our crossing on to a Ferry Pitch. We'd used a Ferry pitch on our outward journey the week before too - our first time in doing so and found really spacious grass pitches. Facilities spotless and nice large play field and park for the children next to the ferry pitches. Would happily return for a longer break as a nice site and well laid out.

HAPPY DAYS

This is a wonderful site that is a credit to John & Sue and their Assistant Wardens. We have used it for the last 3-4 years and enjoyed every stay. I just hope that the new wardens next year can live up to the social and management qualities displayed by John and Sue. Jean Jeff & Daisy

Wet Americas Cup weekend

Arrived in driving rain after a horrific journey M4/M3/M27 on last Friday. Very nice tidy site, busy but plenty of room for everyone. Great wardens, very clean facilities & well kept grassy areas. Only issue is it's quite a way from anywhere. A long walk to the nearest pub. Having said that it's a nice part of the world and Portsmouth, Fareham, Port Solent all with 20 mins driving. Next time I will choose better weather!

Really love site in a lovely spot. Really friendly helpful staff. Very clean too. Couldn't really say if it's good for families as we were there as a couple for the Americas Cup in Portsmouth. Think that should be an optional rating as it certainly didn't apply to us.

Very pleasant stay

Very friendly and helpful wardens gave us an excellent pitch as we were just staying 3 nights while waiting for our ferry crossing back to France. Ideally placed for visiting Portsmouth via the park & ride, would use this site again.
