We were first time visitors to this site, and would highly recommend it. From the warm welcome from the wardens until we left 8 days later we had a great visit. The site is immaculately clean and had some quirky touches such as the hedgehog hotel and ‘bugs’ on the wildlife walk. Even when it filled up over the Easter weekend the facilities were very clean. The wardens were a lovely helpful couple who advised on walks to do and places to go - it’s very easy to use site as base for walks to Ingram village and beyond, or drives to go further afield. Our two Labradors also found the wardens to be lovely and enjoyed having a stroke and an ear tickle if we bumped into them on site… definitely plan to visit again!
