Great welcome to the site from the newish wardens. The site had a lot to live up to as it has been on our to do list for some time, with many castles and other sites we were looking forward to. It didn't disappoint. Pitches looked flat generally and ours was flat straight off the car. Everything clean and tidy, we like the set up in facility block which looked a fairly recent build. The only hypercritical comment I would make is there are some fairly large chunks in the pitch covering which caught us out barefoot under the awning carpet and the odd occasion under flip flops. Pick up and put to edge of pitch is no hardship though. The area looks like it's now high on our list and another stay at the site almost a certainty.
