We've just spent a fabulous week at this lovely site. I don't think we've ever stayed at such a peaceful club site, even though it was full. Immaculately kept by the hard working, friendly wardens. This site is perfectly located for visiting the coastline and other areas of interest. Mobile phone signal was ok (O2 & 3) and tv signal was fine for us without connecting to the site booster. Large on-site dog walk and plenty of walking straight from the site. Perfect for cycling as it's on cycle route 68. There is a small Londis at the petrol station just on the main road, also an antique centre and tea room (tea room not open Monday & Tuesday). There is also a lovely tea room/cafe in nearby Ingram which is very dog friendly. No pub within walking distance. The nearest town for shopping we found was Wooler.
