Our new favourite

Our first visit here and definitely not the last. Both wardens are really friendly and very helpful pointing out the benefits to the various areas on the site. Lovely facilities. Super sized pitches and very relaxing. There’s a gorgeous woodland dog walking area on site that takes you to the river and around a small pond. There is lots of wildlife on site and the wardens have it beautiful. There’s a super little nature trail where children or adults find the wooden houses and solve the animal riddle. Just up the road is the Branton Estate a beautiful wildlife area with a larger lake currently full of cute little goslings and ducklings. It also has a bird hide and it is possible to have a leisurely stroll around the lake amongst the wild flowers. The site is brilliantly placed for visiting Northumberland The coast is a short journey away or go for a bracing walk through the Cheviot hills. It is a breath of fresh air compared to the previous site we had visited the week before. We left relaxed and came straight home to check availability. Thank you. You’re both doing a super job!! Look out for woody woodpecker when you go.
