This is a beautiful site in a beautiful location. I have two gripes - one is the lack of facilities for children (e.g. a park) and the other is the price. Don't get me wrong, if a serviced hardstanding pitch was guaranteed it would be worth the money but pitches are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis and it's no cheaper for a non-serviced grass pitch. Would love to see a small park and the ability to book the type of pitch you want. There were also signs up saying no bikes / scooters - I'm assuming this meant just around the toilet block but it wasn't particularly clear. I really hope it didn't mean no bikes / scooters on the site at all since this is the only thing the kids had to do. Other than that I really couldn't fault the site - the toilet block was immaculate and despite the site being full it was VERY quiet on our visit.
