What a lovely place this is, with a nature reserve next door and the Breamish Valley so near. The Wardens do a fantastic job with such a lot of land to care for. The walks to the river are lovely. We checked with the site book and set off from Nottinghamshire so that we would arrive here after the time we were asked to - which is 1.00 p.m. Unfortunately, some people cannot tell the time and arrive here at 10.30, which is very awkward if the site is full. We were asked by one of them if we were leaving because they said they would like our pitch, then we had a man looking through our front window he said he wanted to know if we were packing up and leaving today as he wanted our pitch! We wasn't leaving that day. The last man complained that the office was not open!!! The is a lovely place to come to with great wardens, it just a shame that some people just cannot tell the time.
