This is a really lovely caravan site, run by friendly wardens, in an absolutely stunning part of the country. The riverside walk through the edge of the site is amazing. The paths are mowed and picnic benches are hidden around every corner. The river tumbles gently over its stony banks - perfect. The site is well located to visit most of Northumberland. It is very close to Alnwick, a half hour drive to Seahouses and Cragside (NT). It took a little longer to get to Hadrian's Wall! We travelled as a family and there is certainly plenty of room to play and spread out, cycle etc. Our children wished the basketball net in the playing field was operational, rather than horizontal, but that is the only criticism.
