A Pleasant surprise
Found this site through late availability as we live in nearby Newcastle and heading into Scotland so decided to start our holiday sooner. The wardens were very helpful and friendly and the site was so peaceful. We walked to the local petrol station and Londis store which stocked all sorts..
There are numerous walks from the site and the toilet block was spotless.
Would certainly visit again
