Another good visit to this site, not been for a couple of years but still good, and the improvements done to the site and toilet block very good. Not too busy when we were there and we even managed to get a pitch on what is known as Millionaire Row, good view and near the toilets etc. We were using it to finish off our touring year this year, other things to do! In a lovely area and not far from Richmond or Catterick to do the shopping etc. There is some noise from the A66 but we did not really notice it after a few hours. The only problem, and this is not the Caravan Club's fault, is the upgrading of the A1 to Motorway standard, the junction is a mess and on our return from seeing friends at 22:00hrs the access from the North was closed and we had to detour!!!. The wardens we good, we arrived to one set and left to another. We will be returning again at some time.
