This was our first visit ti a full site, we usually stay at CL sites - we were not disappointed. The place was immaculate. Great pitches with plenty of room for the car / van / awning. The staff were very friendly, helpful and willing to chat about the local area. Although the site is only just off the motorway, its far enough away from the motorway that you don't hear it. The facilities are superbly finished and clean - the piped in music was a bonus. The country park is only a stones throw away; and with the trans pennine way clipping the edge of the site, there is more than enough walking to be done and if thats not enough, the dales are only a 20 minute drive away.
