We're relatively new to caravanning but found this to be one of the best sites we've been to. We took our dogs and this is probably one of the best places to take dogs to, the walks around the outside of the site are great. Staff were pleasant and really helpful, the toilet block was very clean and tidy at all times, found the cubicles with just a sink in a little strange at first but can see the logic. When the block was closed for cleaning they have a "Service toilet" available. Thanks to all the staff for a great stay, only three days but nice all the same. Good base for Peak district, had a lovely trip out to Bakewell and Chatsworth. I find the review by Jane below a little at odds with our experience but each to their own, we enjoyed ourselves (I have only just seen it as I was finishing my review so laughed as it seems to be the polar opposite of our experience).
