Our first visit to Poolsbrook - will not be our last. It was the first stop in a 3 week - 4 Club Site tour of the Peak District. Nice open pitches with plenty of room to put up our Awning, pitch was level so easy for our motorhome. The facilities were spotless and the grounds very clean & tidy. The Wardens were very helpful - local pub directions / shops etc: and on cycling routes. We cycled to Chesterfield along the Canal - great town to visit - we parked our bikes at the train station and walked through the town.We also cycled on the TPT up to Rother Valley. Spent some peaceful time round the County Park bird watching. Enjoyed our stay and feel there is more we can do here - so will be back - we do not have children but sure that there is enough here to keep them active.
